Getting Started in Slap Battles

First 5 Minutes

Launch Slap Battles by Tencelll on Roblox. Spawn in the Lobby.

Redeem codes: THANKYOU, UPDATE, NEWGLOVES, Happy5lappiversary via the Codes button.

Enable shiftlock in Roblox settings — essential for later badge routes and PvP.

First Fights

Equip Default glove at the nearest stand.

Enter Blue Default Arena portal — not Main Arena yet.

Practice slapping: aim toward edges, strafe between attacks, do not stand still.

First Unlocks

At 45 Slaps unlock Brick — your first real upgrade.

Continue grinding for Dual shortly after.

Check HUD slap counter after every elimination.

What Not to Do

Do not buy OVERKILL before learning fundamentals.

Do not enter Main Arena until Default Arena knockouts feel consistent.

Do not start Plungering Heights before basic parkour comfort.

Hour One Detail

Minute zero through five: launch Slap Battles by Tencelll, spawn Lobby, redeem THANKYOU, UPDATE, NEWGLOVES, Happy5lappiversary. Open Roblox settings and enable shiftlock — non-negotiable for future Plungering Heights and Main Arena edge-guards.

Minute five through thirty: equip Default, enter Blue Default Arena only. Practice slap toward edges while strafing. Do not enter Red Main Arena yet — chaos overwhelms new players before Brick unlock at 45 Slaps.

Minute thirty through sixty: check HUD slap counter, unlock Brick when eligible, continue Default Arena until Dual is affordable. Visit glove stands or inventory UI after the 2026 update to equip upgrades.

First Day Goals

End day one with Brick and Dual unlocked, shiftlock enabled, and at least ten clean knockouts in Default Arena. Avoid OVERKILL purchase and badge obbies until week one fundamentals feel automatic.

Settings Checklist

Lobby Orientation

First Lobby visit: locate code button, nearest glove stand, Blue portal gateway, and inventory UI from 2026 update. Screenshot code UI location for future UPDATE drops. Walk Bunker entrance corridor once even if not entering — future Suction route familiarity saves time.

Day Two Transition

Day two opens Red Main Arena for short sessions with Dual equipped. Cap at thirty minutes to avoid frustration from third-party deaths. Return to Default Arena if knockouts drop below one per ten minutes.

Continue daily code attempts — Tencelll sometimes silently refreshes UPDATE rewards. Track Slap total toward next mid-tier glove from beginner tier list.

Social First Hour

Add one experienced friend or find mentor in Slap Battles Discord for first Default Arena session. Watching slap timing live accelerates learning versus solo trial and error on Brick unlock path.

Emote wheel on comma key signals friendly intent in crowded lobbies. New players using emotes reduce targeted griefing during early Default Arena practice before mid-tier gloves.

Week One Goals

By end of week one you should own Brick and Dual, have redeemed all four active codes, and recorded at least fifty knockouts combined across Default and early Main Arena sessions. Slap counter heading toward 500 unlocks first mid-tier glove from beginner tier list.
